Dr. Louis LeVan
Dr. Louis LeVan has been practicing at Woodside Veterinary Hospital since opening the practice in 1994. Originally from Lewistown, Ohio, Dr. LeVan attended Saint Leo University in Florida and obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology. Dr. LeVan then attended the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate in 1994.
Dr. LeVan and his wife, Melissa, purchased the practice in 1994, and have greatly enjoyed the experience from that point forward.
Dr. LeVan’s professional interests include Equine Lameness, Orthopedic Surgery & Soft Tissue Surgery, and providing high-quality care for your four-legged family members. Dr. LeVan is a member of the OVMA, AVMA, AAEP, and AABP.
Dr. LeVan has several Standardbred racehorses that he trains, along with his wife and children’s menagerie of dogs, cats, cows, Quarter horses, and a rabbit.
In his spare time, Dr. LeVan enjoys harness racing, working on his farm, spending time with his family, and attending his children’s school events, sporting events, and the county fair shows.
